We’re excited to announce that our veterinary hospital group is growing and improving—which means more locations, services and dedicated veterinarians to serve you and your animal companions.
Our newest location is the former Smyrna Veterinary Hospital—now renamed as the New Smyrna Beach Animal Medical Center. We have welcomed Dr. Chelsea Depew as a full-time member of our medical team, and we’re making other upgrades as well, including the addition of advanced diagnostics like ultrasound and digital dental X-rays. New Smyrna Beach Animal Medical Center is located at 1147 N Dixie Freeway just north of Pappa’s restaurant, and now has expanded hours of operation from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. You can stay up to date with our new location by following us on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
We’ve also welcomed Dr. Hannah Duranleau to our medical team at the Woodland Animal Clinic location, where we’re also currently making renovations and upgrading our services. Dr. Duranleau is experienced in internal medicine, advanced dentistry and acupuncture, and looks forward to meeting you and your pets. Please pardon our dust when you come to visit!

Saturday October 5th – Join Beachwood Animal Clinic at the annual Pooch Parade and Costume Contest during Blocktoberfest on Canal Street in New Smyrna Beach.

Admission: $10 per dog plus a bag of food
Assembly / Mandatory: Check-In 9am – 9:45am Canal Street at US 1 for Check In!!
Parade begins at 10am | Prize Awards at 11:45am
What to know: Registrations will be accepted through the cutoff date of October 4th.
Saturday, October 26th – Volusia Woods Animal Clinic is also participating in the annual Halloween Block Party at Mill Lake Park in Orange City. We will be hosting a booth with goodies for pets and treats for the kids. It’s a great place to bring the little ones to trick or treat!
